Adv. Nuna Lerner

Adv. Nuna Lerner serves as Chair of the ICC Israel Arbitration Committee, a role she assumed following years of active involvement in building and shaping the Israeli arbitration community within the ICC framework. In this capacity, she leads the Committee’s strategic vision, fostering collaboration between Israeli practitioners, academics, corporates, ICC top management and the ICC Secretariat, and promoting Israel’s position as a hub for high-standard international arbitration. She is also a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR.

Nuna Lerner is a partner at Gornitzky & Co., where she represents clients from Israel and abroad in complex, high-value cross-border disputes conducted under major arbitral institutions and rules, as well as in related enforcement proceedings before Israeli courts. Her practice covers a wide range of sectors, including energy, infrastructure, construction, finance, and technology. Her extensive experience, both as counsel and as strategic adviser in multi-jurisdictional disputes, is recognised domestically and internationally.

Before joining Gornitzky, she practised in the dispute resolution departments of two leading London law firms—Herbert Smith Freehills and Slaughter and May—bringing to her practice a deep understanding of international arbitration culture and standards.

Adv. Lerner is recognised by Legal 500 as a “Leading Individual” in arbitration and mediation, and by Lexology as a “Thought Leader under 45”, amongst other rankings; she is also the sole winner of Lexology’s Client Choice Award in Arbitration & ADR (Israel) since 2023.

Through her leadership of the ICC Israel Arbitration Committee, Nuna Lerner continues to strengthen the institutional and professional foundations of international arbitration in Israel, ensuring that the local community remains connected to the global arbitration ecosystem and that Israeli counsel and clients are actively engaged in shaping international best practices.
